SRA Books is a team of dedicated individuals who strive to help writers and business owners to produce fantastic books that not only look good but sell well and increase business for their authors. Sue Richardson is a dynamic publishing professional who, together with her colleagues and associates below, works to ensure all aspects of publishing a book are catered for to the highest standards.

Having worked for many years as a freelance editor and publishing project manager, Sue began publishing non-fiction books in 2000. Since then she has worked with numerous companies, entrepreneurial individuals and experts of all kinds to get their books written and published.

Paul has been working with books his entire professional life and has been employed by some of the UK’s biggest retail, media and publishing brands. After nearly 20 years in front-line retail, he moved into book marketing where he was responsible for a £20m publishing portfolio, planning and executing UK-wide and international book trade marketing campaigns.

Maria started working in the world of books back in the early 90s for The Red House – a children’s book club – when her elder daughters were quite small.  Since then she has worked for Hodder Education (part of Hodder and Stoughton) and The HotHive (an independent publisher) before turning freelance in 2011.

“Working with Sue and assisting in the publication of so many wonderful books is an absolute joy.  Every day brings new and exciting challenges which I am thrilled to be a part of.”

With over 20 years’ experience, Natalie has supported and managed teams with companies ranging in size from Citibank to RBS Dominion Securities to SMEs and solopreneurs. Now also executive assistant to Sue, she is an extra pair of hands for the team, assisting in the seamless back office functions of SRA by employing the latest technologies to deliver professional services, skills and support.

Ginny Carter, The Author Maker, is a business book ghostwriter, book writing coach, and author. He is a blogger for the Huffington Post. Gerry also runs his own business, helping professionals be better and more effective at communication.

Mark has been working with Sue for many years. He is highly valued at SRA for his innovative and creative approach to book design and his ability to listen carefully to the desires of SRA’s authors while at the same time considering the books’ potential readers.

“The way a book’s cover and interior is designed has a part in whether the book will sell or not. The goal with book design is to create an eye catching cover and interior that is inviting, pleasing and easy to read. Always an enjoyable challenge!”
